Clear-Cut’s founder Charly Farras,
was born and bred in France. He brought with him a decade of experience
from the most prestigious and iconic hotel bars in London, such as the Beaufort
Bar at The Savoy Hotel, Quo Vadis Private Members Club, and also the fantastic Scarfe’s
Bar at the Rosewood. Charly evolved among legendary bartenders in the world’s best city
renowned for its sumptuous cocktail bars and its eccentric nightlife.
Striving to innovate whilst playing with flavours, when designing new cocktail selections, has always been inherent to him.
Prior to moving to Taipei, Charly spent two years in Hong Kong to explore new horizons while working for famous restaurant groups such as the Black Sheep Restaurants and Ritz-Carlton Hotels.
Whilst travelling around Asia, Charly fell in love with Taiwan and decided to pursue his dream and open his bar in which he could demonstrate his unique expertise.
The inspiration for Clear-Cut came from his acute observation of the best European bars and cafes, and the irresistible need to recreate this amazing atmosphere in the heart of Taipei.
Clear-Cut aims to surprise guests visually with an incredible array of uniquely flavoured cocktails from an artistically crafted menu, delivered in an inimitably designed environment.
